At KBD Group, we recognize that our success lies in the passion and experience of our employees. Our internship opportunities provide students real-world experience and the chance to work alongside our talented team. Check out what our interns are saying about their time with KBD Group.

Q. How was your experience working with KBDG as an intern?

A: My internship with KBDG has been great! This is my first internship with a GC [General Contractor] and I have learned so much about building construction and the processes involved. Everyone I have worked with has offered great guidance and have encouraged me to ask questions until I fully understand the subject.

Q. Is there anything new or interesting that you’ve learned during your internship?

A: I learned that the complexity of a building is not necessarily related to the size of a building. While we might spend a month or more estimating a small to medium addition to a manufacturing facility, some shell warehouses that are 400,000+ SF will sometimes only need a week.

Q. How would you describe the Atlanta office, colleagues and working here?

A: The Atlanta office is great! The building is very nice, the setup and support for computers, software, and office space is second to none. The people that work here have a genuine interest on all projects, are more than willing to answer any of my questions, and do a great job at making sure that I am involved.

Q. How was your experience working with KBDG as an intern?

A: My experience at Kajima was great and I would love to return!

Q. Is there anything new or interesting that you’ve learned during your internship?

A: Yes, the Costx software was fairly new to me and I enjoyed learning how to use its many exciting features!

Q. How would you describe the Atlanta office, colleagues and working here?

A: The company culture at the Atlanta is great, everyone is so friendly and they really care about your growth.

Q. How was your experience working with KBDG as an intern?

A: My experience has been extraordinary, because I felt like part of the Kajima family and I could accomplish my goal, which was to learn the necessary process to build a construction project from the beginning to the end.

Q. Is there anything new or interesting that you’ve learned during your internship?

A: There are many new things that I learned during this Summer internship, just to mention a few: I Learned how to deal with subcontractors, all the pre–construction bidding process and Procore technologies.

Q. How would you describe the New Jersey office, colleagues and working here?

A: The environment is filled with Respect, Education, Professionalism and Family.

Q. How was your experience working with KBDG as an intern?

A: Exciting, Challenging, Treasured. Gained experience that can hopefully help me get my foot in the door at great company like KBD Group.

Q. Is there anything new or interesting that you’ve learned during your internship?

A: YES. Learned software such as Revit, Visual Lighting, SKM Power Tools etc. which are useful in electrical design for buildings. Involved in several projects to learn the electrical design procedure and method. Rendered electrical drawings with direction. Prepared project documents and reports.

Q. How would you describe the New Jersey office, colleagues and working here?

A: Great ambiance to learn and extend my horizon. Colleagues are professional, warm-hearted.
